"Wow... The baby's strong" - Ryan

      I am so happy/excited... Early this morning while our being was doing its morning jungle gym routine, I had placed my hands on my stomach and was feeling several kicks/movements on the outside! I grab Ryan's hand and placed it where I felt the last thud .... Thinking of course now that his hand was there it'd stop... Low and behold our lil being brought out its strongest movement yet.. Which is when Ryan stated "wow... The babies strong.."! My heart is overflowing with joy! <3

20 weeks?! That's bananas! :)

       That right we are 20 weeks and our "wiggler" (because it's been wiggly ALL morning <3) is now the size of a ......

(Apx. 10.5oz and 6.5in long from head to bottom or 10in from head to heel)

      It is also finally the week of our big appointment... Thurs. folks!! I simply can not wait to see our amazing babe... and I'm pretty sure Ryan is equally as excited! He doesn't get to feel all the love nudges .. so seeing it on the US is his only way to interact at this point.. besides taking care of me or "dealing" with me! ha ha

      Yesterday I finally purchased the frames for my mom and dad... I will make copies of the photos from Thurs. to put in them! This will for sure be a Christmas they'll never forget :) I will also be making picture Christmas cards to send out to the rest of our friends and family!

      Well I guess i'll keep busy with school work... it's almost over!!! I'm excited to spend time cleaning...purging...and organizing! This baby will be here before we know it! :)

Don't want to fall asleep.. Cause I'll miss u baby and I don't want to miss a thing!

       Here I am laying in bed ... So tired.. but our lil being is doing somersaults and I LOVE it! If I go to sleep it means I'll miss out on all of it's twists and turns! ;) I suppose I should just take in what I can for the night.. and be thankful I have about 20 more weeks of this amazing feeling! :) ( though rumor has it.. these lil beings get stronger w/ time...and these lil somersaults may not be as sweet) <3

Nothing says Thanksgiving like a ....

    
        I meant to post this blog a few days ago... but that obviously didn't happen! As of today we are 19w5d... I can not believe that in 2 days we will have reached the 1/2 way point.. has it really been 20 weeks?!?(I mean i've only known for 17 weeks.. but still) Just doesn't seem possible! At this rate .. our lil being will be here before we know it! There are all sorts of lil nudges going on inside this "oven". Today while listening for the HB I found the lil stinker all the way up by my belly button...which is just about where my uterus ends at this point!

       People on FB have been posting what they are thankful for everyday.. I myself am thankful for sooo much but am most thankful for the "bun" I am baking!

       Ryan is so funny.. he says to me yesterday.. "why does your stomach indent just past ur belly button? isn't the whole belly supposed to be big and round?" I told him oh just wait!! :) (see last post....to understand what he was talking about)

       Only 5 more days till our "BIG" US... and just over 2 weeks before the world knows! :)

19 weeks on the 19th!!

19 weeks... already!! It's amazing... and this lil being is moving ALL over the place.. and I know i'm only feeling maybe 1/10 of what's actually going on in there! I only feel movement after I've ate, just woke up, and before bed... I <3 it! Today is going to be a fun day... I am going to register for all the goodies! My sister is coming with me as a helping hand. ( Sorry those of you who didn't find out till later.... but I totally "slipped" with telling my sister @ like 12 weeks.. plus she sees me often.. and would have wondered what was going on with this growing belly... Plus I couldn't think of a bigger X-Mas present to give to my back home family!)

How far along? 19 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: not 100% sure i'm sure i've probably gained 5lbs
Maternity clothes? Yes.. pants
Stretch marks? None from this being!
Sleep: not good.... started having sciatica a few days ago.. does a number on sleeping!
Best moment this week: hearing the babies hb and movement.. and feeling more movement!
Have you told family and friends: a select few.. It'll be a Christmas surprise for the fam!
Miss Anything? Sleeping a full night
Movement: yes.. and what I thought was movement has been confirmed by the doppler
Food cravings: Nachos!!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Over the yucks! thank goodness!
Have you started to show yet: houston.. we have a BUMP (that everyone can finally see)
Gender prediction: Im convinced it's a boy.. until it comes out with a vagina! :)

Belly Button in or out? In... but its getting shallow!

Turn up your volume... There it is... our "beings" amazing lil heart! This doppler is pretty awesome. I wont lie.. I spent probably 10-20min trying to map out the different sounds. You have an artery to left of your uterus below the belly button.. and you can hear your own hb in the middle and to the far right... but once you hear you babies hb.. There's no mistaking the sound! I'm not as addicted as I thought I would be.. Holding and moving the wand gets kind of tiring.. played with it once yesterday... and then this morning.. THEN I wanted a video to share.. but i'm done for the night!

Sciatica... Not my friend

    Oh boy.... I started having sciatica yesterday... And sleep last night was lil and far between! I am truly hoping that it only lasts a short time... and not the next 21 weeks.. Yooy! I will be finding a chiropractor on Mon. to hopefully help me.. ;)

     On a better note.. Dr. CT and I went in half on a hb Doppler that should be here later this afternoon. I can not wait to have Ryan hear the hb.. plus 4 weeks feels like an eternity to wait to hear that amazing sound.. So glad we now have this technology we can use at home! I will try and record a video of the hb and post it!

... Only 12 more days to our anatomy us...

Happy Halloween (16w)

      Well, I had my appt yesterday (11/1 - 16w3d).. our lil pumpkin had a nice strong hb of 150 bmp and the belly is measuring "very good". I am feeling "myself" these days.. with an appetite like a horse!! I am so glad November is here.. only 4-5 more weeks of school and only 27 more days till we get to visit with our pumpkin during our LONG anatomy scan! :) AND 5 weeks or so till the whole word knows about our "gift"! I believe on  10/29 I felt our pumpkins first "flutter" .... I had been drinking water and laying in bed.. the water was making "glug" sounds in my upper stomach.. which I believe startled our being and it did a quick "flutter'" and it was gone! My ob believes that by next week the flutters should become more frequent... with full movement in no time! :) Can't wait!!
