building.. growing.. waiting!

     Well today marks 15w/16w (I add the 16 cause i've constantly measured a wk ahead (They won't change my due date until my 20wk US)... I even got to skip the last wk of my 1st trimester.. which was awesome!). Last Mon. I had to make a trip to the OB (nothing serious.. just a lil women issue) :). Anyways.. at this appt. I got to hear our lil beings HB (155bpm).. It was amazing to say the least! I began to tear.. the midwife became very concerned and said "155.. that's good!" I then said "I know... it's just the first time I have heard the hb through a doppler" ... she of course smiled and said well.. it's now routine whenever you step foot into this office! :) My next routine visit is in 10 days.... hoping it continues to fly by!

     It still boggles my mind that there's a lil human inside me... I lay in bed just rubbing and staring at my lower abdomen.. <3. This lil being is already soooooo loved by its mommy and daddy... I can't imagine the love that'll be shared once he/she is in our arms!

     Speaking of  Ryan... he's been creative!

      He has just recently started building a toy box.... because of course this child will be spoiled! :)

I am finally feeling about 90% better (nausea)... and am now wearing maternity pants (gap..is by far the best) Not so much because I couldn't squeeze into my jeans... but because the tightness of jeans on my lower abdomen is simply not desirable! Other then that... I can't wait to feel this lil being move.. i'm hoping for some movement by mid Nov (1/2 way between my next appt and my 20wk US on Nov. 29th).. I also am anxious for the world to know we're expecting. I figure in about 7 wks or so... i'll send out our x-mas/pregnancy gift/announcement... it's crazy to think i'll be 22wk+ and more the 1/2 through this pregnancy... I can't wait to give everyone their big "surprise".
